Salary: Grade E - SCP 13-17 £16,491 to £17,772

 

Contract: Permanent – 39wks Term Time Only

Wood End Primary School, part of the Community Academies Trust (CAT) is seeking to appoint a F&A Administrator to join our friendly team.

 

Applications are invited from enthusiastic and motivated individuals with excellent inter-personal skills and a flexible approach to providing a high quality service at a supervisory level. The successful candidate will, under the direction of the School Business Manager, be responsible for the provision of an effective finance and admin support service, understand safeguarding procedures and possess the ability to work calmly under pressure.

The Community Academies Trust currently comprises of nine primary schools, five secondary schools and two National Teaching Schools. Successful applicants will be an excellent communicators and IT literate with the ability to work within a demanding environment and demonstrate the following:

  • Management, collection and reconciliation of School monies, free school meals and milk in schools scheme,

  • Responsible for school ordering and problem resolving

  • Responsible for purchase and sales ledgers and query resolution as required

  • Management of the schools admissions procedures and accurately maintain pupil related information system, including pupil attendance data,

  • Ensure the provision of quality administration support including word processing, drafting, reprographics and filing,

  • Ensure that a friendly and effective reception and switchboard service is provided

  • Liaise with staff when organising school visits, events and extra-curricular activities

  • Promote the vision and values of the school and wider Trust
