Enterprise Day 2016

1st December 2016
Enterprise Day 2016
Today across school the sound of cutting, sticking, stirring and making fills the air. The children are all working in their house groups to produce goods for the Christmas Fair.

Prior to today, the pupils have met and planned for today - deciding on what to make in a democratic way, ordered the resources needed and planned how they are going to work. The House Captains have led the way!

With a clear plan in mind, each house is working in mixed aged groups to produce their chosen products to be sold tomorrow at the Christmas Fair. Their enterprise will be judged by a select panel from our wider school community, including Governors and our business partners at CEVA.

This opportunity provides children with the chance to see maths in action in the planning, making and selling of their wares. There may be future entrepreneurs at Dordon!

Which house will reign supreme?
