World Book Day
As always, our children did not let the side down. We had Captain Underpants, Harry Potter, Cinders, Matilda, Captain Hook and many more walk through Dordon’s doors. Every year, we look forward to World Book Day and enjoy celebrating authors, illustrators, books and (most importantly) just taking time out to celebrate reading!
Our staff always try to encourage children to explore the pleasures of books and reading and yesterday was no different. I always tell the children that if they do not like reading they just haven’t found the right book. I had so much fun reading picture books to all classes across school. It was a pleasure to share a passion of mine with the children too!
