Poppy Art Installation

6th January 2017
Inspired by 'The Weeping Window' in London, the pupils in Hawk class wanted to create their own art installation to honour the memory of the Fallen in World War 1.
They designed and made their own poppies and then worked as a class to place them in the appropriate design. This was the final outcome from their work on World War 1 and they felt it was a fitting tribute.
The artwork is on display in the playground and the Year 5 pupils have explained to the other classes in school the significance of their work.
