Dordon Community Store
To support our charity, Dordon Community Store, the school council set children a challenge to collect a variety of food and build their very own food mountain in their classes! The winning class, who contributed the most food, were Swan 2 and they won a spin on the Dordon prize wheel!
It has been an honour to support a local charity like the Dordon Community Store as it is evident how beneficial the team are and how the work they do supports the community. Miss Noakes and I went to deliver the food and we were blown away by the kindness of those running it.
For those of you who are unaware of the food store, here is a little more information about them:
Dordon Community Store is a food bank for the people of Dordon (North Warwickshire) and the surrounding area. The store stocks a wide variety of fresh, chilled and ambient food. There is no charge for the food in the store, but there is a limit on most items. Donations are welcome. The store is based in the Dordon Village Hall.
