At Dordon, we recognise that every day counts in ensuring pupils achieve their best. We strive for our children to be in school every day so that they can make the most of all the learning opportunities offered to them.
We also understand that children may suffer from occasional illness and need time off from school. This is why we set the goal of all children having attendance of 96% or more.
Our mantra is if your child is well enough, they must be in school.
If you are having difficulty, for whatever reason, getting your child into school when they are well enough, please ask for an appointment with Miss McGroarty to discuss this. We will look to support families to improve attendance.
