Sport at Dordon
Sport plays a central role in Dordon’s vision to support and nurture individual pupils with diverse needs. We believe sport is a vital part of the school curriculum and develops pupils' teamwork, confidence and resilience.
This year at Dordon, we have been committed to raising the profile of our sporting achievements in the wider community by providing our children with more opportunities to compete in events outside of school. We have entered many competitions (football, cricket, tennis) proving Dordon should not be underestimated.
We have also introduced four sporting after school clubs, which have been extremely popular with double the amount of pupils wanting to sign up!
I would like to offer a HUGE congratulations to Grayson, Leighton, Esmay and Indi who came joint first in a local tennis tournament this week. Dordon are delighted. Fingers crossed for the final.
