CAT Athletics Competition

Last Friday Children from Hawk & Falcon took part in an athletic competition at the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham - recent home to the Commonwealth Games.

 

Here is what the children had to say about the event.

"Even though I didn't win, I pushed through and felt very proud of myself." - Jack T

"In the longer races I had to pace myself so I didn't get tired towards the end." - Mahisha

"I was proud when I won a silver medal." - Freddie

"The stadium was massive!" - Chloe D

"I enjoyed it and did not give up (even when I pulled a muscle)." - Jack C

"We cheered on other schools as well as each other." - Chloe B

"It was a great experience for my first time being there!" Bailey

"I loved the relay because we showed good teamwork." Daisy

"I was extremely happy when I won the 75 metre race." Milly

"It was amazing to see the tracks in the stadium." Jayde

"I loved doing my 200 metre run." Indiana

"I enjoyed the 400 metre race even though my legs hurt!" Hozan

"I liked the relay because we worked well together." Imogen

"Although I came 3rd in the 200 metres, I still enjoyed the race." Leighton

"Although it was a challenging, I had an amazing day!" Noah
