Junior PCSO Club

What is the Junior PCSO Club?

The Junior PCSO (Police Community Support Officer) Club is an exciting initiative designed to engage young people in their local community while helping them develop important life skills. Through the club, pupils learn about public safety, community responsibility and teamwork in a fun and supportive environment.

Key Goals of the Junior PCSO Club:

  • Community Awareness: Children gain a better understanding of their local area, safety, and how to help others.
  • Skills Development: Activities build confidence, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive Engagement: Members work alongside local PCSOs and other young people to make a positive impact on their community.
  • Fun and Learning: The club includes interactive workshops, community projects, and safe, supervised activities that are both educational and enjoyable.

By joining the Junior PCSO Club, pupils not only contribute to their community but also develop valuable skills that will benefit them for years to come.

This week, Charley and Jamie brought Rudy and Joker to school, giving the children the opportunity to learn about the role of a police dog and its handler. The children also enjoyed a guided tour of a police car. It was a wonderful experience and the children really appreciated it.
