Farewell 2024-25!
I am writing this article thinking about a year full of memories that I will hold onto for a lifetime - that's the beauty of teaching! This time of year always fills me with both pride and sorrow. Pride, because I see our pupils leave us as accomplished young adults and sorrow because I never quite feel ready for them to leave.
Year 6, I want to say goodbye and good luck. Signing the autograph books today, has made me reflect on each member of the class and what an honour it has been to watch you all develop and flourish. I wish you well in your future endeavours.
This year, the children across school have learned so much, grown together, and made memories of their own. The children have worked so hard and I'm so proud of each and every one of them. Now, it's time for a well-deserved break. Summer is here, and it's time for you all to relax, have fun, and recharge your batteries.
Remember to read a good book, play outside, and spend time with your loved ones, but don't forget all the amazing things we've learned this year. Keep your minds sharp and your hearts open.
