Owl class held an assembly for their parents to showcase their musical talents!  Miss Fiu, our school music teacher, has been teaching the children to play the ukulele all year and it certainly paid off.

Unfortunately, I joined Year 3 in the hall part way through their assembly so I missed some of the performance but it was clear to me how hard they had been working throughout the year to get to this point.  The children evidently understood musical scales and how to perform as a group, all of which takes a great deal of time and effort.

Mrs Price was extremely proud of the children and shared how resilient they had all been learning to play the ukulele.  This is another example of children facing challenges but overcoming them with a positive attitude!
